The One God rules the physical and spiritual – the creator of everything good and pure in the world. Worshipped universally by nearly every culture, The One God (sometimes referred to only as The One, or Sa’Inu) is the most powerful being in the universe.
Second in power only to The One God is Gurik Sal, the author of all that is evil and twisted. Gurik Sal’s name means “that which is cast off” in the ancient, dead language of the High Elves.
The One created three servants, powerful angelic creatures, masters of the elements, to rule over the created world. A giant, a dragon and a kraken – the fathers of their respective kinds. Gurik Sal poured venom in the ears and hearts of all three and won the giant and the kraken, and their offspring over. Only the dragon and his kind remained steadfast to the will of The One.
Finally, the natural world is inhabited by spirits: the Silfa and the Dinna, collectively known as the Fadd Tsora, the “unseen movers”. The Fadd Tsora are were born out of an ancient conflict between the dragon and the giant and the kraken. The tension between the massive amounts of elemental power the two factions used against each other caused the Fadd Tsora to come into being. They are neutral in the struggle between good and evil, and they serve as the basis for all magic.
Basil Munroe Godevenos earned the nickname "Bucket" because of a combination of bad webcam audio and an extended family member's English accent. He likes the name though, so he's kept it.
